Levitra is used to treat male impotence or erectile dysfunction.
Before taking these drugs tell your doctor if you have had:
- heart attack
- irregular heartbeats
- high or low blood pressure
- stroke
- physical deformity of the penis such as Peyronie's disease
- personal or family history of a rare heart condition known as prolongation of the QT interval (long QT syndrome)
- liver problems or kidney problems
- have a; a family history of degenerative eye disease (e.g., retinitis pigmentosa)
- angina (chest pain)
- stomach ulcer
- congestive heart failure
- blood problems
- bleeding or blood clotting disorder
Dose
Levitra is produced in a tablet and must be taken orally. You should take Levitra about 1 hour before sexual activity. Don’t take it twice a day. Follow your doctor’s instructions.
Interaction with other drugs
Don’t use Levitra if you:
o take medicines called "alpha-blockers"
o take any form of medication known as "nitrates"
Tell your doctor about any medications that you are taking.
Side effects
- an erection that lasts more than 4 hours
- stuffy or runny nose
- vision changes, such as seeing a blue tinge to objects or having difficulty telling the difference between the colors blue and green
- flushing
- an erection that will not go away (priapism)
- headaches

Store Levitra in the original container and keep out of the reach of children and animals.
