• For intravenous infusion, reconstitute powder with 5 ml of normal saline solution injection, lactated Ringer's injection, or 5% dextrose injection. Further dilute reconstituted solution to make a final volume of 50 ml, and infuse over 10 to 30 minutes. Reconstituted drug may be stored at room temperature up to 6 hours if mixed with 5% dextrose injection or up to 12 hours if mixed with normal saline solution or lac-tated Ringer's injection.
• Be aware that patient receiving intravenous esomeprazole should be switched to oral form as soon as possible.
