Viagra is used to treat men's impotence. It increases the ability to achieve erection by sexual stimulation.
Before taking these drugs, tell your doctor if you have had:

- have coronary artery disease;
- have kidney problems;
- have a bleeding disorder;
- have liver problems;
- have a condition that could lead to prolonged and painful erections;
- have high or low blood pressure;
- have ever had blood problems;
- have retinitis pigmentosa;
- have a stomach ulcer;
- have a physical deformity of the penis such as Peyronie's disease;
- or if you are taking other medicine to treat impotence.
Dose
You should take Viagra orally. It must be taken 1 hour before sexual activity. Don’t take doubling dose of Viagra. Do not take Viagra more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Interaction with other drugs
You shouldn’t take Viagra if you take any drugs that contain nitrates. Many medicines that are used to treat angina contain nitrates. Viagra is only for patients that have erectile problems. Do not let anyone else take your drugs. Viagra must be used only by doctor's prescription.
Side effects
As any medicines, Viagra can cause some side effects. The most common are
- upset stomach
- changes in color vision
- headache
- heart attack
- flushing of the face
- eyes being more sensitive to light stroke
- erection that lasts more than 4 hours
- irregular heartbeats
Tell your doctor if you have any of these side effects.
Storage
Keep Viagra out of the reach of children and domestic animals. Store at 25°C (77°F).
